An Act to constitute the Commonwealth of Australia enacted by the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and (Northern) Ireland on 9 July 1990. The constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia is contained at clause 9 of the Commonwealth Constitution Act.

Australia Act 1986
An Act to bring constitutional arrangements affecting the Commonwealth and the States into conformity with the status of the Commonwealth of Australia as a sovereign, independent and federal nation. (In addition to the Australia Act 1986 enacted by the Australian Parliament, an Australia Act 1986, in substantially identical terms, was enacted by the United Kingdom Parliament. The Australia Act (United Kingdom) gained its authority from Section 4 of the Statute of Westminster and was passed in case the Australia Act (Commonwealth) was found to be invalid.)
