WHAT HAS TO BE CHANGED

What has to be changed?

If the people of Australia wish to change their current form of stable government to that of a republic then certain changes will have to be made to the Constitution and other Acts of The Parliament. To date there have only been eight (8) changes to the Constitution itself. With that in mind, the following list indicates the level of change that will have to be made. This list is indicative only and does not claim to be exhaustive. There will be many other changes required that do not impact directly on The Parliament. The cost involved with such a change has not yet been fully calculated and, although difficult to determine accurately, it is fair game to say that it will be high and will have to cover an extremely wide range of various items as the huge administrative cost.
